Know your personal emergency plan
Disaster can strike at any time, often with little or no warning, so it is important to familiarize yourself with your local emergency response plan before you need to use it. In case of an emergency, always follow the directions provided by the emergency response team. Building evacuation maps are posted throughout the building (for example, at elevators and stairwells). Once you evacuate the building, you will be directed to the designated assembly point or an alternate safe location. Assembly point maps are available from the Lobby Host in each building. First aid kits, AEDs, and fire extinguisher locations are marked on building evacuation maps.

Are you prepared for an emergency?
We encourage employees to participate in the emergency preparedness drills conducted annually at their local site. Drills are invaluable in educating team members about local safety measures, including emergency contact numbers, evacuation routes and shelter.

Emergency contact protocol
In an emergency, SMS texts are delivered to the primary number listed in Employee Central; by default, this field also publishes to the global address list. Employees can voluntarily provide their mobile phone number. For employees who do not provide a phone number, security will attempt to reach them via email. CO+I datacenter employees should see Emergency Response (Business Reliance) plans.
