What is ergonomics?

Ergonomics is the science of designing and arranging workspaces, tools, and tasks to fit the people who use them, so they can work comfortably, safely, and efficiently. It’s about adapting the environment to the person, rather than forcing the person to adapt to the environment.

In practical terms, ergonomics helps prevent injuries like back pain, eye strain, and repetitive stress by improving posture, equipment setup, and work habits.
